(Replace "drobo-fs" and "sharename" with the names you
chose for your Drobo FS, accordingly.)
Note: If you have a DroboPro FS, replace "drobo-fs" with "drobopro-fs" in
the above.
7. Choose a name for your network drive and click Next.
8. The wizard will confirm your actions and give you the chance to
open the network place (i.e., the FS array share) when you click
Finish.
The share will show up in the "Network Drives" panel of My Computer.
Windows Vista/7
1. Open Computer.
2. Click the "Map network drive" button on the tools menu.
3. You can click the Browse button and locate the share you want
to access; or
you can manually enter the share name: \\drobo-fs\sharename
(Replace "drobo-fs" and "sharename" with the names you
chose for your Drobo FS, accordingly.)
Note: If you have a DroboPro FS, replace "drobo-fs" with "drobopro-fs" in
the above.
4. After you either choose from the list or type the address, click
Finish.
The share will now show up in Computer or Windows Explorer.
If you only want to access the drive, but not mount it in Windows:
1. Open Computer
2. In the left panel, either double-click "Network" or single-click
the triangle next to "Network."
3. Locate the name of your FS array in the list and open it.
4. Choose the share you want to access.
5. Click the share name and it will either prompt you for a
username and password or otherwise open the share in the
Explorer window.
Mac OS X
1. Open the primary Mac volume.
2. In the left panel of Finder, click the triangle just to the left of
"Shared"
