Admin Tab

This screen is used to assign a username and password for the
administration of your FS array. As the administrator, you can log into
any share. After setting up a username and password, you will be
required to login to your device in order to manage the shares on your
unit.
Note that after you set a username and password, Drobo Dashboard will
not ask you to login in again unless you previously clicked the Logout
button. The Logout button is on the Drobo Dashboard main page.
This screen also allows you to Enable DroboApps if desired. For more

Shares Tab

A share is simply the name of a virtual folder on your FS array that is
accessible through the network. A share will show up in Windows as a
drive letter with the share name. In Mac OS X, the share shows up as a
named volume.
