2. Removing the foot from the foot cover.
Note: Use spectra socks as shown in figure 1.
MAINTAINANCE & CLEANING
Note: The device should always be used with spectra socks and foot
covers to minimize dust and dirt from entering between carbon blades. It
is important to fix the spectra sock around pyramid location in order to
prevent noise issues coming from sand entering between the plates.
The device is weather-proof but not resistant to corrosion. Therefore, the
device should not come into contact with salt water or clorinated water.
The device is not designed to be used under extreme conditions like
diving or jumping into water. If for some reason the foot components get
wet parts should be dried with a lint free cloth. Should the device come
into contact with salt water, chlorinated water, dust or dirt it must be
rinsed with fresh water immediately.
DEBRIS BETWEEN BLADES
Noise could occur if sand or debris are present in between the top and
middle blades, same could happen between bottom blade and
middle blade.
Use compressed air to remove debris in between the carbon parts.

USE ENVIRONMENT

• Environmental operating temperature: -15 °C (+5 °F) to 50 °C (122 °F).
• Operating humidity: 10-95% relative humidity
• Shipping and storage temperature: -20 °C (-4 °F) to 70 °C (158 °F).
LIABILITY
The manufacturer recommends using the device only under the specified
conditions and for the intended purposes. The device must be
maintained according to the instructions for use. The manufacturer is
not liable for damage caused by component combinations that were not
authorized by the manufacturer.
CE CONFORMITY
This device meets the requirements of the 93/42/EEC guidelines for
medical devices. This device has been classified as a class I device
according to the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the
guideline.
COMPLIANCE
This component has been tested according to ISO 10328 standard to two
million load cycles. Depending on the amputee's activity this
corresponds to a duration of use of two to three years. We recommend
carrying out regular yearly safety checks.
