The Setup menu

Set the HOT 1.
START parameter 2.
To exit the set-up Briefly touch the workpiece with the electrode to store the HOT-Start value that you have
menu just set, and to exit the set-up menu.
Important! Once set, this HOT-Start value is retained even after the machine is switched
off.
Turn the welding-current dial (3) completely clockwise and anticlockwise three times
in succession in the space of 2 seconds
The operational readiness indicator (2) flashes as soon as the welding machine has
changed to the set-up menu
Set the welding-current dial (3) to the "HOT-Start" scale range
Adjust the HOT-Start value (0 - 100 % of the pre-set welding current) using the arc-
force dial (5)
e.g. set the arc-force dial (5) to a scale value of "3" (30 % welding current)
100 A welding current + 30 % HOT-Start = 130 A ignition current
