25. CHECKING COMBUSTION PARAMETERS

Access the electronic board programming mode, as indicated in section 21.
• Scroll the list of parameters and select parameter OF 555.0;
• Set parameter OF 555.0 = 1 and press OK;
N.B.:
the CHIMNEY SWEEP function lasts 15 minutes, after which it automatically terminates. To exit the function
before it has finished, set parameter OF 555.0 = 0 or switch off the boiler.
To measure combustion performance and the toxicity of the
products of combustion, the boiler is fitted with two dedicated
taps on the concentric connector.
One tap is connected to the flue duct as is used to measure
combustion efficiency and the toxicity of the products of
combustion.
The other is connected to the air flue and is used to check
for the presence of products of combustion in installations
with co-axial flues.
The following parameters can be measured using the tap
connected to the flue duct:
• temperature of the products of combustion;
• concentration of oxygen (O2) or, alternatively, carbon
dioxide (CO2);
• concentration of carbon monoxide (CO).
The temperature of the comburent air must be measured on
the tap located on the air flue of the concentric connector
Important:
after testing, close the taps with the relative
plugs.
