vised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance or any
part of the appliance or the packaging. Close supervision is neces-
sary when the appliance is used near young children. Always keep

• Before operation, always ensure that you have assembled the appli-
ance completely and correctly. For operation,

Always switch off (control dials to "0" and power switch to "O"),
unplug, and let the appliance cool down, before removing any parts,
and before moving or cleaning the appliance.
• Always hold the housing at both sides near the bottom for moving the
appliance. Do not hold the appliance at the power cord or handles
of the grilling plate for moving the appliance. Do not place any hard
and/or heavy objects on the appliance or any part of it.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaners, cleaning pads (e.g. grill cleaning
pads), or any corrosive chemicals (e.g. oven/grill cleaner) for clea-
ning. Do not immerse the housing, grilling plate, or power cord in
water or any other liquid. Do not spill or drip any liquids on the hou-
sing, power cord or underside of the grilling plate to avoid risk of fire
and electric shock.
• DO NOT place the housing, grilling plate, or power cord in an
automatic dishwasher.
