6. Cleaning and maintenance

If necessary, the box spring metal
frame can be cleaned using a soft cloth.
Do not use scouring agents/abrasives
or other detergents.
The box spring should never be cleaned
using a lot of water, but should be
cleaned using a damp cloth. Do not
beat or vacuum clean the box spring,
but use a soft brush instead.
For electrically adjustable Superbox
please note:
Before starting to clean the AVS
Superbox, take the plug out of the
socket. Do not plug it in again while the
box spring is still damp.
You should ensure that adequate
uninterrupted ventilation can take place.
We therefore advise you not to fit a
mattress cover between the mattress
and box spring.
Examine the AVS Superbox frequently
for signs of wear or damage. If there
are such signs or if the appliance has
been misused, return it to the supplier
prior to any further use.

7. Disposal of
packaging and product
Auping continually invests in cleaner
production processes, and attempts to
minimise its environmental burden
through the greatest possible use of
durable materials. Its Superbox is
manufactured from CFC-free materials.
This
manufactured in such a way that no
unnecessary waste is produced. The
box spring frame is made of steel,
which is suitable for recycling.
For adjustable AVS Superbox please note
Make sure that the box spring cannot
fall open during transportation. Secure
the base frame and upper frame to one
another, using tensioning straps if
necessary.
Safe waste disposal
The packaging is made up of cardboard
and polyethylene film (PE). Please
dispose of these materials in a
responsible way in accordance with the
regulations of your local authority.
