Note: The cable for the throttle of the engine can not be adjusted!
If you experience slack in the cables, this can be solved simply by turning the the bolt.Fig 9
do as followed:
 Follow the cable there are problems with (Cable I, J or K)
 Tighten clockwise – tensions the cable
 Tighten counterclockwise - loosens cable

Mulching and side discharge

When using mulching function, the mulching plug Fig 6.1 has to be installed in the rear
ejector hole.
When using side discharge function, the mulching plug Fig 6.1 has to be installed in the
rear ejector hole and the ejector screen has to be attached. See Fig. 6.2
Do not attach the collector box while, using mulching or side discharge function.

Height adjustment

The lawn mower comes with central height adjustment. Use the handle near the right rear
wheel to adjust the cutting height.

Operating

REMEMBER: Always check and fill 0.6 L engine oil before starting the first time!
Oil level must be between min. and. max on the oil stick. Fill with SAE-30 oil.
Use only unleaded Octane 95 fuel in the engine. Never fill up the tank completely.
Starting the Vario 50 TR/W (TG685)

1. Pump the primer (7A) according to the scheme.
2. Put the throttle control to maximum
3. Pull the handle (7B), which loosens the
enginebrake, and pull the starting cord.
Let the starting cord carefully return to the engine.If necessary; reduce the throttle a
bit after engine starts.
4. Pull the handle (7C) up to activate the self-propelling function.
5. The handle (7B) must be pulled towards the steering handle while using the
machine. When the handle is released, the engine (and the knife) stops in 5
seconds
