for about 5 seconds (

if only one segment or none is displayed. The battery symbol appears
during operation and in the case of further falling voltage only when the
switch is actuated (see also Section 7.5 and Section 8.6).
Replace­­ the­­ batteries­­ immediately­­ with­­ fresh­­ ones­­ when­­ all­­

segments­­ of­­ the­­ battery­­ symbol­­ are­­ extinguished,­­ to­­ avoid­­
endangering­­persons­­by­­false­­measurements.
