2.4.3 Provision of shear connectors
The shear connectors are not included in the scope of
delivery and must be provided by the user.

The shear connector must reach into the blinding
concrete. The connector length is to be selected in
accordance with the floor structure over the blinding
concrete.

The anchoring depth h and the drill hole depth h+s are
specified by the connector manufacturer. This results in
a connector length of at least L = h + s + t + g.

Use can also be made of other makes provided that
these have been approved by the supervisory author-
ities for use on the compression and tension side of
the concrete. The tensile strength of the connector
must be at least 55 kN. Attention is to be paid to the
fitting instructions of the connector manufacturer.

The type of connector used must be recorded in the
test log book.
2.4.4 Routing of electrical connection

3. Installation
3.1

Hazard warnings

DANGER – Incorrect installation of lifting
platform
Risk of (fatal) injury due to the vehicle falling
or tipping up during lifting, when working on
the vehicle and on lowering.

Erection is only to be performed by Bosch
customer service or authorized service
agents on the basis of these installation
instructions.

Installation is only to be performed if all the
prerequisites are satisfied and the scope of
delivery is complete.
3.2 Unpacking lifting platform
3.2.1 Determining location
1. Determine the location of the control column (col-
umn with operating unit) and of the secondary
column.

The control column is located on the right when
viewed in the direction of travel.

A safety clearance of at least 1 meter must be main-
tained in front of and behind the vehicle as well as to
the sides of the lifting platform.
2. Perform trial drilling in the foundation.

Successful, positive trial drilling in the foundation is
a prerequisite for installation.
