Assembly

3.1

Hazard warnings

DANGER – Incorrect installation of lifting
platform!
Risk of (fatal) injury due to the vehicle falling
or tipping during lifting or lowering and when
working on the vehicle.
¶
Installation must only be performed by a
Bosch customer service agent or authorized
service outlet in accordance with these
assembly instructions.
¶
Only install the lifting platform once
all requirements are satisfied and the
completeness of the scope of delivery has
been verified.

Mounting the lifting platform

3.2.1

Unpacking the components

1. Use a forklift truck or crane to move the pallet to the
installation location of the lifting platform
2. Open the crate and remove the packaging material.

3. Remove the operating unit (1) and position it next to
the crate.

Ensure the correct orientation: the openings for
the hose connections must be at the bottom of the
operating unit.

4. Remove all loose parts from the crate.

3.2.2

Unloading the lifting platform from the pallet

DANGER – heavy lifting platform!
Risk of crushing through incorrect unloading
of lifting platform.
¶
Only remove the lifting platform from the
pallet using a crane and harnesses.
¶
Ensure that there are no persons or objects
in the vicinity of the lifting platform.
¶
Never reach underneath the base plate of
the raised lifting platform!
1. Raise the lifting platform using a crane and
harnesses.
2. Withdraw the crate from beneath the raised
platform.
3. Lower the lifting platform onto the foundation
ensuring the correction orientation.
4. Ensure that both base frames of the lifting platform
are correctly positioned on the foundation.
