CLEANING AND CARE

Clean the unit regularly. Absence of due care may cause surface damage which may affect the unit opera-
tion and create possible danger for the user (GOST R 52161.2.25-2007).
• Before cleaning switch the unit off and unplug it.
• Provide that water does not get on the unit control panel, clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe it
dry.
• Keep the oven chamber clean. When food remnants or splatters stick to the unit walls, remove them carefully us-
ing a damp cloth.
• If the working chamber is too dirty you may use a soft detergent.
• Do not use abrasives and metal brushes to clean inner and outer surfaces of the oven. Provide that no water or
detergent gets into the air and steam openings on the lid and body of the oven.
• Do not use detergent based on ammonia.
• Wipe the unit body with a soft damp cloth.
• Keep the oven door clean. Provide that no crumbs and food remnants accumulate between the door and the front
panel of the oven as it prevents the door from normal closing.
• Regularly clean the ventilation openings on the oven body from dust and dirt, as air for cooling the unit passes
through them.
• Regularly take out and clean the glass rotary bottom plate and the roller support, wipe the bottom of the oven
chamber.
• Wash the glass bottom plate, roller support and roller ring in warm water with a neutral detergent. You can wash
these parts in a dishwashing machine.
• Do not immerse the heated glass rotary bottom plate into cold water: the glass plate can splinter due to extreme
temperature difference.
TROUBLES AND TROUBLESHOOTING

VT1654_china.indd 13
During operation of the unit interferences in the reception of TV and radio signals
can appear. The same interferences appear during operation of small electrical
appliances such as a mixer, a vacuum cleaner and a hairdryer. It is normal.
Oven chamber backlighting can be low when low microwave power level is
selected. It is normal.
Products may emit vapors during cooking. The most of vapors goes out through
ventilation openings but some part can accumulate on the inner side of the door.
It is normal.
Switching on of the unit for several minutes without food does not cause its
damage. Each time before switching the microwave oven on check if there are any
products inside.
Possible Cause
The power cord plug is not properly
inserted in the socket.
Malfunction of the electric socket
The door is not closed tightly
