9.3 - Resistive sensitive edge

This accessory, with a constant resistance of 8.2 K, is useful for detecting the pres-
ence of an accidental obstacle anywhere along the path of the shutter.
With respect the position fixed at 5 cm from the limit switch of maximum closure, the
intervention of the sensitive edge above this position always causes a stop and a
brief inversion. Below this position, the behaviour depends on the function pro-
grammed with the following procedure.
01. Place the shutter 5 cm from the support surface (maximum closure) on the win-
dowsill in a desired position, beyond which the sensitive edge must intervene to
stop the motor and cause a brief inversion.
02. Press and hold key ■ of a transmitter for about 5 seconds, until the motor per-
forms 1 VIBRATION. Then release the key.
03. Press and hold keys ▲ and ■ for 5 more seconds, until there are two short
motions.
04. Within 4 seconds, perform one of the following steps to programme the behav-
iour of the motor when the sensitive edge intervenes under the position:
• key ▲ (= after intervention of the edge the motor continues to descend until
memorized limit switch "1").
• key ■ (= after intervention of the edge, the motor stops and does not perform
the brief inversion).
• key ▼ (= after intervention of the edge, the motor stops and move the position
of limit switch "1" just above the position of intervention of the edge. Note - a
few manoeuvres may be necessary to set the best value).
The motor now performs 3 long motions (= memorization has occurred).
To delete programming and reconfigure the input to use it for a climatic sensor, you
must delete the limit switch positions "0" and "1" (see paragraph 8.3).
