6.2 WiFi connection

To establish the WiFi connection via WPS:
If your router features a WPS button, the easiest way to connect the amplifier to the WiFi network is using
this button.
1) Activate the WPS function at the router and confirm the connection by briefly pressing the WPS button at
the CIA-40WIFI. The announcement "Searching for WiFi connection" will be heard and the STATUS
indicator will flash rapidly.
2) The CIA-40WIFI will be automatically connected to the WiFi network. Upon completion, the amplifier will
announce "WiFi connected" and the STATUS indicator will light continuously.
3) Now the CIA-40WIFI can play audio streams from the network.
To establish the WiFi connection manually:
If the router does not provide the WPS function, the CIA-40WIFI can also be configured via its internal web
server.
1) Open a web browser on your computer, smartphone or tablet and call up network settings of the CIA-
40WIFI ( section 6.1).
2) Then use the "Wifi" button to view a list of all WiFi networks available. Select the network you want to
connect to and enter the password if required.
3) The STATUS indicator will flash rapidly while the connection is being established. Upon completion, the
amplifier will announce "WiFi connected" and the LED will light continuously.
