How to install the electrical connection
Mounting the ARGUS in wall connection boxes:

1 In order to lead the connecting cable into the back of the device from
above, attach the four spacers supplied to the wall-mounting bracket.
Feeding the connecting cables in from the rear:
– Push the rubber sleeve supplied A over the stripped connecting
cables.
Feed the connecting cables in from below:
– cut the rubber insert supplied B according to the cable thickness.
– Insert the rubber insert into the wall connection box
– Push through the connecting cables
2 Mount the wall connection box using the screws supplied.
How to install the electrical connection
Using the floating switching contact "µ", you can switch loads
corresponding to the technical specifications with any supply voltages
(Figure )).
| Note: When connecting 230 V loads, treat the 12 V supply cable like
a 230 V cable (see VDE 0100 "Safety separation").
| Note: Fuse the switched conductor using a 5 A automatic circuit-
breaker or a 5 A miniature fuse.
1 Feed both connecting cables (12 V supply voltage and load to be
switched) into the connection box separately from one another.
2 Strip the connecting cable insulation by a length of 14 mm.
3 Plug the positive pole of the 12 V supply voltage into the "+" terminal.
4 Plug the negative pole of the 12 V supply voltage into the "-" terminal.
5 Plug the load to be switched into the terminals of the floating
switching contact „µ".
How to mount the ARGUS upper section
Installation options (Figure )):
A ARGUS constantly connected to operating voltage: ARGUS
B ARGUS combined with break contact: The ARGUS is always ready
