– if a defect occurs while in use,
– before a storm,
– before you clean it.
❐ If you wish to remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull on the cable, but always
on the plug.
❐ Never submerge the device in water or other liquids! Make sure that the device, the cord
or the plug do not fall in water or are at risk of getting wet. If the device falls in water, im-
mediately disconnect the power supply.
❐ Make sure that no water penetrates the device's grinding mechanism.
❐ Never touch the device, the cord or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Do not leave the device unattended when activated if children or animals are nearby.
❐ Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
❐ Only use fresh drinking water at room temperature for brewing coffee.
❐ Never place the glass pot on a hot stovetop or other hot surfaces.
❐ Never leave an empty glass pot on the heating plate when it is on!
❐ Do not use the coffee maker without water. Always fi ll the water tank with water at least
up to the MIN mark.
❐ Never use the device if the glass pot is damaged.Only use the glass pot with this device.
❐ The freshly brewed coffee is hot; be careful when handling hot liquids.
❐ Do not reach into the grinder and don't insert any objects into the grinder!
❐ Do not add any water to the coffee maker once it has been turned on. You could scald
yourself with the sudden emission of steam.
❐ The heating plate becomes very hot. Do not touch it and do not set any objects on it.
❐ Only use accessories that are contained in the product contents or which have been ex-
pressly recommended by the manufacturer.
❐ After each use, let the device cool off for at least 10 minutes before brewing the next pot
of coffee.
❐ If the device is on, the heating plate will remain hot for 2 hours, after which time it will de-
activate automatically.
❐ Do not place the device under kitchen cupboards or the like. The steam emitted could dam-
age them!
❐ Never fi ll the hot glass pot with ice-cold water.

Warranty conditions

Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded from the
warranty.This also applies to normal wear and tear.
