❐ Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
❐ Only use fresh drinking water at room temperature for brewing coffee.
❐ Never place the coffee pot on a hot stove top.
❐ Do not use the coffee maker without water.
❐ Do not overfi ll the water tank to prevent the coffee pot from overfl owing later! Use the
supplied glass coffee pot to fi ll the water tank. Do not fi ll more than 12 cups of water (one
full coffee pot) in the water tank.
❐ Never use the device if the coffee pot is visibly damaged. Only use the coffee pot with this
device. Handle it with care as it is prone to shattering.
❐ The freshly brewed coffee is hot; be careful when handling hot liquids
❐ Do not add any water to the coffee maker once it has been turned on. You could scald
yourself – in the worst case – due to the sudden emission of steam.
❐ Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclusively those recommended
by the manufacturer.
❐ The heating plate becomes hot. Do not touch it and do not set any objects on it.
❐ The heating plate remains on after the brewing process has ended! Always turn off the
device when the heating plate is not in use.
❐ Do not leave the empty glass coffee pot on the heating plate if it is on as this could shatter
the glass..
❐ Never fi ll the coffee pot with ice cold water when it is still hot as this could shatter the
glass.

Warranty conditions

Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded from the
warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
