Checking and viewing
If an incident takes place, you can check and
view the recorded media data using the ACE 2.0
app on your smartphone or on your computer
using the micro SD card (if necessary using the
supplied USB adapter for the micro SD card).
Use a suitable software package to view the
video recordings.
We recommend the VLC Media Player for this
purpose.
The micro SD card may only be inserted
and removed when the device is
switched off so as to prevent data loss
and malfunctions.
Backing up
To secure the relevant media data, for example
for use as evidence, you can to your ACE 2.0
app or to your computer from the removed
micro SD card.
Never edit the files on the micro SD card
on a computer, for example by deleting
or moving the media data. If you do so,
the micro SD card will be formatted as
soon as you insert it back into the ACE
2.0, in other words all the existing data
will be deleted.
This will not happen, however, if
you only copy the media data to the
computer.

Avoiding malfunctions

The ACE 2.0 can generally be restarted using
the Reset button if it suffers any system faults.
Please ensure that you do not damage
the microphone (4) by mistake.
Press the Reset button (3) on the underside of
the front camera for at least 3 seconds for this
purpose.
Use a thin, pointed object to do so.
Some application errors may result in
malfunctions. The following contains some
important notes on how to avoid malfunctions.
