GPS function
The GPS function is not permitted in
all countries for legal reasons and may
therefore be restricted or completely
disabled in some countries.
Please familiarise yourself with the
statutory regulations in your country
before starting to use the ACE 2.0.
For further information, see section
"Settings".
Manual recording of videos and
photos
It is also possible to record videos and photos
manually.
Pressing the Power button on the front camera
will start a manual recording in driving mode.
You can choose between a photo and a 60-
second video sequence in the ACE 2.0 app.
You can also start recordings manually using
the ACE 2.0 app on your smartphone.
Using its internal memory module, the
manually recorded video sequence starts on
the SD card 10 seconds before the triggering
time.
Car Location
Another function in the ACE 2.0 app enables
you to find your parked car more easily. If the
ACE 2.0 is connected to the ACE 2.0 app when
you switch to parking mode, an image will be
saved from both the front and rear cameras in
the ACE 2.0 app. At the same time, the position
of the car will be shown on a digital map. A
GPS signal for the ACE 2.0 is required for this
function when it is switched to parking mode.
This will help you, for example, remember the
parking space number in a car park or find the
location of your car in an unfamiliar city using
the map.
The photos and position indicator (only
if the GPS function is active) are saved
in the ACE 2.0 app until the function is
executed again.
The Wi-Fi connection to the ACE 2.0
must be connected to enable the
position indicator to be displayed on
android smartphones.
