10.3.7 Connecting the power supply

DANGER Electrocution
Carry out all electrical connection and installation work
in accordance with relevant regulations.
You can connect the appliance power as follows:
ª The power cable is provided with a plug for a standard
safety socket. This socket must be freely accessible after the
appliance has been installed.
ª Where the appliance is to be connected permanently to the
AC power supply (appliance junction box), ensure that all
poles can be separated from the power supply with a contact
separation of at least 3 mm.
ª If required, you may connect the SH 15 SLi appliances directly
(permanently) to the mains power supply. For this, fit the
special accessory "Set"; see chapter "Special accessories".

the mains voltage.

11. Commissioning

Commissioning must only be carried out by an authorised
contractor in accordance with safety regulations.

The high limit safety cut-out responds if the order is
confused (first water, then power). In such cases, replace
the controller and reset the high limit safety cut-out by
pressing the reset button; see chapter "Troubleshooting /
Resetting the high limit safety cut-out".
ª Open the hot water tap or set the mono-lever mixer tap to
"hot" until the water that flows out is free of air bubbles.
ª Check the safety assembly. When cracked open, a full stream
of water must flow.
ª Insert the plug into the mains supply.
ª Select a temperature.

12. Taking the appliance out of use

ª Isolate the appliance from the power supply by unplugging it.
ª Drain the appliance, see chapter "Maintenance / Draining the
appliance".

13. Recommissioning

See chapter "Commissioning".

ª Explain the appliance function to users and familiarise them
with its operation.
ª Make users aware of potential dangers, especially the risk of
scalding.
ª Hand over these instructions.
