10.2.2 Oversink installation with safety assembly KV 307 / KV 40
The SH ... is only suitable for oversink installation; the
water connections point downwards.
ª Install a safety assembly into the cold water line in
accordance with the static pressure:
- up to 0.56 MPa safety assembly KV 307
- up to 1 MPa safety assembly KV 40 (with pressure reducer);
max. setting 0.48 MPa at the appliance connection.

10.3 Installation

10.3.1 Installation information
The colour designation of tap connection pipes
and those of the appliance must match:
R.h. side blue =
L.h. side red =
- If two basins are to be supplied, we recommend the water
distribution tees; see chapter "Special accessories".
- Route the connections to the second tap on site, for example
in a 10 mm copper pipe.
- Information regarding plastic pipework:
Possible water damage!

If plastic pipework systems are used, take into account
the most extreme operating and fault conditions that
could occur at the appliance; see chapter "Specification /
Fault conditions".
10.3.2 Installing the safety assembly
ª Install the safety assembly.
ª Observe the information in the installation instructions of the
safety assembly.

10.3.3 Securing the mounting bracket
ª Mark out the holes for drilling using the installation template
supplied.
ª Drill both holes and then insert rawl plugs.
ª Secure the mounting bracket with suitable screws.
10.3.4 Installing the appliance
If required, store excess lengths of power cable in the storage
space provided.
ª Hang the appliance onto the mounting bracket.
ª Secure the water connections from the tap to the appliance.
10.3.5 Adjusting the flow rate
By adjusting the flow rate, the limits regarding appliance and tap
noise can be adhered to. In addition there will be a minor mixing
effect and consequently the stored hot water can be used more
efficiently.
ª Adjust a maximum flow rate; see chapter "Specification /
Data table" and / or the description of the safety assembly.
10.3.6 Adjusting the temperature selection limitation
If required, you can limit the temperature selection at the rotary
selector.
ª Pull off the controller button.
ª Pull off the limiting ring.
ª Fit the limiting ring in the position for the required maximum
temperature.
ª Fit the rotary selector.
