Timer

Your timer is also equipped with a countdown
function. You set a specific period, just as you
would with an egg timer. Once the period has
expired, a tone sounds. You can set a dura-
tion of one minute up to 23:59 hours.
Please note that the countdown timer does
not switch the oven on or off. You can also
use the countdown timer when the oven is
not switched on.
1. Press the MENU button until the display
shows "0·00" and the bell symbol
es.
2. Set the desired period of time using the
arrow buttons. Press and hold each ar-
row key to go forwards/backwards more
quickly.
A few seconds after the last key is pressed,
the current time appears again and the
countdown starts in the background. The
bell symbol is then displayed.
3. To display or change the remaining time,
press and hold the MENU button until the
remaining time is displayed.
4. After the set time has elapsed, an acous-
tic signal will sound for approx. 6 minutes
and the bell symbol
press the MENU button to turn off the au-
dible alarm.
5. Finally, hold down the MENU button until
the flashing bell symbol disappears.

Interrupting/ending countdown
1. Press the MENU button until the remain-
ing time is displayed.
2. Briefly press both arrow keys simultane-
ously. The display now once again shows
the current time.

Change signal tone

You can change the audible alarm that sounds
when you press the button and use the timer.
3. Simultaneously press the arrow keys until
the display reads "0·00" and the dot starts
to flash.
4. Then briefly push the MENU button. This
will cause the display to show "ton1". y
5. Use the left arrow key to select the de-
sired tone (tone 1 to tone 3).
After approx. 3 seconds the display once
again shows the current time.
