Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.
Problem
The oven is not working, the
clock does not light up.
The oven cannot be switched
on. The clock display is flash-
ing.
Oven cannot be switched on
("AUTO" lights up in the dis-
play).
Temperature indicator light (2)
goes out.
Temperature indicator light (2)
does not illuminate.
Power indicator light (4) does
not illuminate.
Oven lighting is not working.
Possible solutions/tips
1. The power supply has been interrupted:
Check the fuse for the oven at the fuse box. Check the socket
by connecting another appliance.
2. The clock is defective.
Notify our service department to arrange the repair (see
page EN-28).
After connecting or after a power failure, the clock must be set.
See chapter (see „The timer" on page EN-19).
The oven is in automatic operation mode. Switch to manual
operation (see „Operating the timer" on page EN-19).
The oven temperature has been reached. The light switches on
again automatically when the temperature drops.
First check that the appliance is still working (see above). If the
light is defective, only have it replaced by Customer Service
(see „Our Service Centre" on page EN-28).
If the light is defective, only have it replaced by Customer Ser-
vice (see „Our Service Centre" on page EN-28).
Replace the defective bulb for the oven light (see „Changing
the oven light" on page EN-17). Notice: Defective bulbs do not
fall under our warranty.
