Operating conditions
Observe the chapter "Important Safety Instructions" before using the machine.
Always conduct a hazard analysis to adjust safety measures to the location and application.
Keep an appropriate safety distance to the audience and to heat sensitive and highly flammable
materials.
Always ensure sufficient ventilation and have fire-extinguishing appliances ready at all times.
Always wear protective clothing, gloves and glasses.
Keep device upright. The integrated "Tip Over" function automatically stops spark output whenever the
maximum inclination angle of 45° is exceeded.
Allow the machine to cool down and empty the granule container before transport. Otherwise the inner
workings of the machine might fail.
Keep the granule away from moisture and ignation sources. Avoid dust formation.
Clean the machine and the working area after each use or at least once a day.

Placing the unit and filling in granules

• Remove all packing materials from the shipping box. Make sure that there are no packing remnants, especially
around the output nozzle.
• Place the machine on a dry and flat surface. Fill in the granules by unscrewing the tap of the feed port (2).
Ideally, fill in the entire contents of a bag of granules with a funnel. Proceed quickly. Screw the tap shut.
• Make sure the feed port is closed when there are granules in the container.

Connection to the mains

Connect the device to the mains with the power plug. The jack POWER OUT allows for power supply of further
devices. To interconnect several devices, connect the jack POWER OUT to the input POWER IN of the next unit
until all units are connected. Matching power cables with P-Con plugs are available as accessories. In this
manner, up to 3 devices can be linked.

Switching on

Switch on the machine with the power switch. The machine will heat up for approx. 5 minutes and "HEAT" is
indicated in the bottom right corner of the display. The upper line indicates "Warming up ...". While the machine is
warming up, spark output will not be possible yet. Once the warm-up process is completed, the bottom right
corner of the display indicates "READY" and spark output will be possible. The upper line indicates "Ready to
work".

Cleaning function

We recommend you to perform the intergrated cleaning function via the wireless remote control or via DMX in
case of reduced output despite the machine being filled with granules. You should also activate the cleaning
function at the end of the operation in order to clean the channels inside the heater from granulate remnants.
Then switch off the machine with the power switch.

Cleaning after use

Clean the machine and the working area after each use or at least once a day. Observe the chapter "Cleaning and
Maintenance".
