SETUP

Mounting

To mount the display to a wall or ceiling, use the mounting brackets supplied. Remove the two screws located on
the left and right side of the display and then use them to fasten the display to the mounting brackets. Always
choose screws and plugs which are suitable for use in your wall/ceiling and have enough holding power. Fasten
the device in such way that it will not fall down.

Power supply

Connect the power adapter provided to the corresponding input on the device and to a mains socket. The display is
now switched on and shows the last selected message or the factory-set demo message when the device is
switched on for the first time. To switch off, disconnect the device from the power supply. You can use the remote
control to switch the display off and on again by pressing ALT and RUN.

Inserting batteries into the remote control

Open the battery compartment of the remote control and insert two AAA batteries with the correct polarity. Close
the battery compartment. If the remote control no longer works or its range decreases, the batteries are discharged
and must be replaced.

Installing the PC software

The LED display can be set up and remotely controlled with the PC program 'LED Single-Line'. The program
supports the operating systems Windows 7, 8 and 10. To install the software, connect the enclosed USB flash drive
to your computer. Start the installation program 'LED Single-Line_setupV7.exe' and follow the on-screen
instructions.

Installing the USB driver

The connection via the USB interface requires a special driver which simulates a serial interface for the PC
program. It is best to install the driver from the enclosed USB flash drive before connecting the display to the
computer. Start the installation program 'Setup' in the folder 'CH340 DRIVER' and follow the on-screen instructions.

Connecting the computer

For connection via the USB interface, connect the enclosed USB cable to the connection socket on the unit and
plug it into a free USB socket on the computer. Windows informs you about the successful installation and displays
the unit as 'USB-SERIAL CH340' as well as the assigned COM port. The COM port must be specified later when
operating the PC program. It can also be found in the device manager under 'Ports COM and LPT' and can be
changed manually there if necessary ( chapter 'Troubleshooting').
