5.2 Adapting the Liner
INFORMATION
When using a myoelectric prosthesis:
Tailor the liner so that the electrodes of the myoelectric prosthesis rest on the skin.

Required tools:
>
719S5 Toothed Scissors or 719S7 Sizing Scissors
► Use scissors to adapt the liner to the condition of the patient's residual limb.
5.3 Installing the Pin
Required materials:

14A1 Lock Set
► Screw the pin into the thread at the distal end of the liner.
6 Use
CAUTION
Use of powder (e.g. baby powder or talcum)
Skin irritation on the residual limb and loss of function of prosthetic components due to clogging
with particles or deprivation of lubricant
► Keep the product away from powders.
NOTICE
Mechanical overload
Impaired functionality due to mechanical damage
► Check the product for damage prior to each use.
► Do not use the product if its functionality has been impaired.
► Take any necessary measures (e.g. repair, replacement, inspection by the manufacturer's
customer service, etc.).
6.1 Putting on and taking off the liner
CAUTION
Pin not fully inserted into the lock
Risk of injury if the pin is not engaged in the lock
► Guide the pin into the lock in accordance with the instructions.
► Always verify that the pin is engaged in the lock before using the prosthesis.
INFORMATION
The outside of the 14Y5 SkeoUp is provided with an anti-friction coating that makes donning
easier. The liner does not need to be rolled up and no donning spray is required.
Turn the liner inside out and place it on the end of the residual limb.

► Slide the liner onto the residual limb so that it has no wrinkles or air inclusions, and without
shifting the soft tissue.
Donning
1) INFORMATION: The liner must be dry to put it on.
Roll up the liner and place it on the end of the residual limb. Align the pin along the axis of the
residual limb.
