The camera is suitable for indoor use only. For
outside installation, it must be mounted into a
weatherproof outdoor housing.
Protect the camera against dust, humidity, and
heat (admissible ambient temperature range
-10 °C to +50 °C).
Align the camera in such a way that the lenses of
the lens assembly are not exposed to direct sun-
light, otherwise the CCD image sensor chip might
be damaged.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
No guarantee claims for the camera and no liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the camera is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it is not
correctly installed or not repaired in an expert
way.
If the camera is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.

Applications

The high-resolution camera TVCCD-700COL has

been designed for applications in video surveillance
systems. It distinguishes itself by a very high light
sensitivity and a high dynamic range and offers the
following features:
- convenient camera adjustment via an OSD menu
- insertion of a camera title of up to 20 characters
at a selectable position in the picture
- backlight compensation with adjusting of pre-
ferred picture areas (48 zones)
- digital zoom (adjustable in 8 steps up to double
zoom max.)
- white balance selection: manual, semi-automatic,
or continuous control
- mirror effect to be individually selected for both
axes
- selectable negative display
- masking feature of four areas to cover picture
sections which are not to be monitored
- selectable automatic gain control (AGC)
- switchable digital noise filter (DNR)
- electronic shutter
- iris control
- motion detection
- still picture feature (freeze)
