Leak test
1. Turn all equipment off.
2. Open gas cylinders and rapid shut-off valves in gas pipes.
3. Read off pressure at both pressure gauges and close gas cylinders again.
4. If the pressure gauges (2) still indicate the same pressure after 10 minutes, the gas system is tight.
If the pressure drops, the gas system is leaking and must be repaired immediately by an expert. Do not
open cylinder valves again!
This leak test only provides a rough indication and is not a substitute for the proper
regular gas test!
In case of a permanent gas leak through opening PRV (6) at the Ø8mm pipe socket, the
pressure regulator must be replaced.

Technical data

Operating pressure
Central regulator: 30 or 50 mbar
Changeover regulator: 100 or 220 mbar (depending on position of rotary knob 1)
Flow rate: Mg: 1.5 kg/h
Regulator outlet connection: Outer thread G1 / 4LH = anticlockwise (corresponds to H.4 )
Permissible max. temperature TS – 20°C ÷ + 60°C
Conformity declaration:
The GOK
Caramatic
97/23/EC, with use of EN 13786/B and J.
The central regulator "A"is equipped with a pressure control valve "PRV" (6) so that pressures in ex-
cess of 150 mbar cannot be generated in the gas system.
EG Type Approval Product Identification Number: CE-0085 BT 0014

Installation instructions

The operating pressure (30 or 50 mbar – see imprint on central regulator A) of
must match the operating pressure of the devices installed in the vehicle!
Equipment must always be installed by an expert!
Proper installation under observation of the technical regulations applicable for planning, building and
operating the entire system is the precondition for faultless functioning of the pressure regulator.
The
is only approved for caravans and motor homes where the gas cylinders are placed in
Caramatic
the open or in cupboards that are sealed from the vehicle interior.
Installation in commercially used vehicles, closed spaces (households), mobile homes (statics) is not
permitted.
1. Connect central regulator "A" and changeover regulator "B" to the gas cylinders in such a way
that the signs "A" and "B" point upwards if possible.
Always connect by hand, do not use tools! (anti-clockwise thread!)
2. Screw existing gas hose (3) to central regulator "A" (anti-clockwise thread!).
3. Screw connecting hose (4) to regulators „A" and "B" (anti-clockwise thread!).
4. Attach regulator bracket (5) to wall of vehicle in a suitable position.
The tightness of the

tion. The rest of the gas system must be checked using the pressure drop method.
Any existing test certificate (mandatory in Germany in accordance with DVGW worksheet G 607, for
example) must be updated accordingly.
Then test all device functions as described in the operating instructions.
For use to the intended purpose and ensuring the warranty, please be sure to observe these operating
instructions.
The operating instructions must be handed to the operator!
