LAN connection

Usually, an RJ-45 connector is used to
establish LAN connection (
operated with the series 20 IP (20-0001A-IP/
-0002A-IP/-0005-IP/-0013A-IP/-0014A-IP/
-0016A-IP/-0041A-IP/-0043A-IP) basic
electronics, the network connection can
also be established via the series 20 IP basic
electronics. To do so, connect the camera
module's RJ-45 socket to "Port 2" socket of
the Series 20 basic electronics using a .patch
cable. The SIP door intercom needs to be
supplied via a PoE Class 0.

Power supply

Power for the Behnke IP camera is supplied
via the Ethernet port (PoE class 0). When
operated with the series 20 IP (20-0001A-IP/
-0002A-IP/-0005-IP/-0013A-IP/-0014A-IP/
-0016A-IP/-0041A-IP/-0043A-IP) basic elec-
tronics, power for the camera is supplied via
PoE from the IP basic electronics (please cf.
"Connecting the LAN").
