Operation

Filling with water (Fig. 4)
1. Remove sealing cap (4) as shown in Fig. 4.
2. Fill a maximum of 20L of water using a suitable con-
tainer or funnel. Use pure rainwater or distilled water,
if applicable, because it will not cause calcification.
3. Wipe up spilled water with a dry towel immediately.
4. Fit the sealing cap and tighten as shown in Fig. 4.
Mains connection (Fig. 5)
1. Open the sealing cap of the spray-water-protected
mains plug (3).
2. Connect the mains plug (3) with extension cable (11)
to the mains.
Heating mode (Fig. 6/8)
1. Switching on: Press the ON/OFF button (14) once - A
beep sound is issued. The operation LED (15) begins
to illuminate. The water temperature is displayed on
the temperature indicator (17). If there is too little
water in the system, the water shortage warning LED
(16) illuminates.
2. If there are leaks in the water system, switch off the
device immediately with the ON/OFF button (14) and
disconnect the device from the mains with the mains
connection cable. There is a risk of electric shock!
3. Heating the water: Press the heating button (21) and
the water in the tank is heated up. The current water
temperature can be seen on the temperature indicator
(17). Depending on the filling temperature of the wa-
ter, it can take up to 45 minutes before the water has
been heated up to maximum temperature.
4. When the maximum temperature is reached, three
short beeps are issued and the LED for heating mode
(22) goes out.
5. If the device topples over, switch it off immediately
with the ON/OFF button (14) and disconnect the de-
vice from the mains with the mains connection cable.
There is a risk of electric shock! First return the device
to the upright, standing position. For your own safety,
wait about five minutes before re-establishing the
electrical connection.
6. Switching off: Press the ON/OFF button (14) again.
The operation LED (15) goes out and the heating
process is ended with the displayed temperature
7. Disconnect the device from the mains. The mains
connection is only required to heat up the water.
Charging the battery (Fig. 5/ 8)
1. The weed killer has an integrated Li-Ion battery for
operation of the water pump.
2. The battery is charged automatically when the week
killer is connected to the mains and the ON/OFF but-
ton is pressed.
3. You can see the charge status of the battery on the
charge status display (18).
Operation (Fig. 1; 5-8)
1. Switch on the weed killer with the ON/OFF button
(14). Make sure that the device is disconnected from
the mains.
2. If no settings, etc. are made on the device within one
(1) minute, it automatically switches off.
3. Press the 'Pump' button (19) once. The 'Pump' LED
(20) begins to illuminate and a beep is issued. The
charge status display also begins to illuminate.
4. Remove the lance (9) from the lance holder (13).
5. Direct the nozzle (10) towards weeds. Attention!
The jet must not be directed towards any per-
sons, animals, active electrical equipment or the
device itself.

6. The width of the water jet can be adjusted by turning
the nozzle (10).
7. Wait a few seconds until the pump has built up
enough pressure.
8. Actuate the activation lever (7). The activation lever
(7) can be locked with the locking button (8).
9. Spray weeds for a few seconds with hot water. The
hotter the water, the more quickly the plant protein is
destroyed. Ensure that hot water also penetrates to
the root of the weed. This is the only way to perma-
nently remove the weed. Make sure that you bring
the nozzle (10) as close as possible to the weed.
10. The device can be used in the same manner to
water plants with cold water, or for the application of
fungicides, pesticides, fertilisers or cleaning agents
that are water-soluble, as well as for disinfecting and
cleaning of dirt and stains with hot water.
11. This device was developed for use with a neutral
cleanser based on biodegradable anionic surface-
active agents. Use of other cleaning agents or
chemical substances can impair the safety of the
device and cause damage. Such damage to the
device is not covered under warranty. Only use
biodegradable fungicides, pesticides or herbicides
that do not corrode the stainless steel tank and other
device parts. Only use water-soluble additives and
ensure that they have completely dissolved in the
water. Otherwise, residue can clog the pump, hose
(26), lance (9) and nozzle (10).
12. If the activation lever (7) is released, the pump
switches off automatically. If the activation lever (7)
is actuated again, the pump switches on automati-
cally.
13. Press the 'Pump' button (19) again to end operation.
The 'Pump' LED (20) goes out.
14. Press actuate the activation lever (7) again in order
to de-pressurise the hose (25) and lance (9) and
remove the water.
Transport
1. Before any transport, turn the machine off and discon-
nect it from the power supply.
2. Please use only the handle (6) to transport the ma-
chine.
3. Protect the machine from blows, impact and strong
vibrations, e.g. during transport in vehicles.
4. Secure the machine against tilting and sliding.
5. Never use safety guards for handling or transport.
Cleaning
c Remove the mains plug before any work on the
machine. This also includes filling with water or the
attempt to remove leaks. Risk of electric shock!
Do not hose the machine down with water and do
not clean it under running water. There is a risk of
electric shock and the machine can be damaged.
Always keep the machine clean. Do not use deter-
gents or solvents.
• Keep the ventilation slots clean and free.
• Clean the machine with a soft brush or a damp cloth.
• If the nozzle (10) is dirty or blocked, you can remove
the foreign body from the nozzle with a nozzle clean-
ing needle.
