Standard installation

- Electrical connection in upper part of appliance
For further installation options, see chapter "Installation /
Installation options":

- Anti-scalding protection / temperature limit
- Electrical connection in the lower section of the appliance
10.1 Standard installation

Note
f Mount the appliance on a wall. f
The wall must have a sufficient load-bearing capacity.
f Undo the snap fastener using a screwdriver. f
f Remove the appliance front cover by pulling it forwards. f

f Mark out the 3 holes to be drilled using the installation tem- f
plate (see centre section of these instructions).
f Drill the holes. Use suitable rawl plugs and round head or f
cylinder head screws with 8 mm screw head diameter. The
screws and rawl plugs are not part of the standard delivery.
f Insert the upper screw to the depth indicated. f
f Hook the appliance onto the screw. Pull the appliance f
downwards.
f Tick the selected connected load and voltage on the type f
plate.
f Align the appliance horizontally. Then insert the lower 2 f
screws.

Water connection

For the appliance to function correctly, the strainer must
be built into the cold water inlet.
Tap installation
f Install the tap. For this, also observe the tap operating and f
installation instructions.

f When making the connections, counter the torque f
on the appliance using an appropriate spanner.

f Fit the 3/8 connection hose and the 3/8 tee provided. f
Making the electrical connection

Carry out all electrical connection and installation work
in accordance with relevant regulations.

Ensure that the appliance is earthed.
Ensure the appliance can be separated from the power
supply by an isolator that disconnects all poles with at
least 3 mm contact separation.
WARNING Electrocution
The appliances are delivered equipped with a power
cable.
Connection to a permanent power supply is possible,
provided the cross-section of the fixed cable is at least
equal to that of the standard power cable for the ap-
pliance. The maximum permissible cross-section is
4 x 6 mm².

Observe the type plate. The specified voltage must match
the mains voltage.
f Connect the power cable in accordance with the electrical f
connection diagram (see chapter "Installation / Specifica-
tion / Wiring diagram"). There is a choice between 2 con-
nected loads. The high load is preset. If selecting a different
output, see chapter "Installation / Installation options / Ad-
justable connected load".
