BASIC RULES DURING WELDING BY TID METHOD

Purity - grease, oil and other impurities must be
removed from the weld during welding. It is also
necessary to mind purity of additional material
and clean gloves of the welder during welding.

Leading additional material - oxidation must be

adjusted according to the type of welding or
accor-ding to the size of gas hose. After finishing
the welding gas must flow sufficiently long to
pro-tect material and tungsten electrode against
oxi-dation.

Errors can be also caused by bad leading of the wel-
ding torch and bad adding of additional material.
NOTICE!
The welding machines 150, 170 provide the possibility
of connecting a remote control. For connecting the
remote control turn the switch on (pic. 10). For
welding without a remote control (the remote control
is not connected to the machine) is necessary to have
the switch on the front panel off (pic. 10).

Prior to welding

IMPORTANT: before switching on the welder, check
once again that the voltage and frequency of the
power network correspond to the rating plate. Ad-
just the welding current using the panel potentiome-
ter. Adjust the PROCESS switch to the most suitable
position according to the type of welding to be carried
out. Turn on the welder by the supply switch (pos. 1,
pic. 2). The green signal light shows that the welder is
switched on and ready to operate.
