The
icon appears, along with the mes-
sage "OIL CHA". This indication will flash for 1
minute when the ignition key is turned on if
the limit for scheduled checks (see the
MAINTENANCE TABLE on page 30) has
been reached. The Authorised MALAGUTI
Service Centre will turn off the lights and
reset the counters, once the requested op-
eration has been performed.
3.11.6 MILE OR KILOMETRE SELECTION
If you are driving in countries where different measurement systems
are adopted, you can change the unit of measurement of the distance
travelled and of the speed recorded (instant and average) from
kilometres to miles or vice versa. To make this change, the ignition key
must be OFF
. Now, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the power supply for a few minutes by removing
and refitting the general protection fuse. The selection menu
will appear on the display.
Turn ON
the ignition key.
Select the desired unit of measurement by pressing the MODE
when the requested unit of measurement is displayed.
Stored data (with the exception of TOD) will be reset.
This choice must be made every time the digital instrument
board remains without power for a few minutes.
IMPORTANT: using a unit of measurement that differs from
the one used in the country where you are driving may
lead to improper calculations, especially concerning the
vehicle's speed. Consequences include exposure of the
driver and others to dangers, as well as fines.
