Pipe assembly for offset installation
This pipe assembly with pipe bends is required if you need to
have the appliance vertically offset against the water connection
by approx. 90 mm downwards.
Pipe assembly for replacing a gas water heater
This pipe assembly is required if the installation has existing gas
water heater connections (cold water connection on the left and
DHW connection on the right).
Pipe assembly for DHB water plug-in couplings
2 water plug-in couplings for connecting the appliance to the ex-
isting water plug-in connections of a DHB.
Load shedding relay (LR 1-A)
The load shedding relay for installation in the distribution board
provides priority control for the instantaneous water heater when
other appliances, such as electric storage heaters, are being op-
erated simultaneously.
Central thermostatic valve (ZTA 3/4)
Use the thermostatic valve for central premixing when operating
an instantaneous water heater with preheated water, for example.
For use in shower operation, the valve must be set to a maximum
of 55 °C.

f Flush the water line thoroughly. f
Taps
f Use suitable taps (see chapter "Appliance description / Acces- f
sories"). Open vented taps are not permissible.
No safety valve is required.
Note
Never use the cross-piece to reduce the flow rate. It is
intended for shutting off the appliance.
Permissible water line materials
- Cold water inlet pipe:
Pipes made from galvanised steel, stainless steel, copper or
plastic
- DHW outlet line:
Pipes made from stainless steel, copper or plastic
Material losses
!
If plastic pipework systems are used, take into account
the maximum inlet temperature and the maximum pres-
sure (see chapter "Specification / Data table").
Flow rate
f Ensure that the flow rate for switching on the appliance is f
achieved (see chapter "Specification / Data table", On).
f Increase the mains water pressure if the required flow rate is f
not achieved with the draw-off valve fully opened.

Flexible water connection lines
f If the appliance is installed with flexible water connection f
lines, ensure that the pipe bends do not become twisted.
Pipe bends have a bayonet fitting and are installed inside the
appliance.
f Secure the back panel with an additional screw at the f
bottom.

Install the appliance in a room free from the risk of frost.
f Always install the appliance vertically and near the draw-off f
point.
The appliance is suitable for undersink and oversink installations.
Note
The appliance must be fitted to a wall with sufficient load
bearing capacity.
