CLEANING THE THERMOSTATIC VALVE
The thermostatic valve is provided with mesh filters to trap any impu-
rities in the water. Over time, these filters could become clogged and,
therefore, inhibit the functions of the mixer tap. To clean them, do the
following:
A
I Turn off the water supply (hot and cold) to the shower enclosure.
I Drain the water from the mixing group by placing the devia-
tor ring nut (G) on the position "A - showerhead". Then set the
showerhead on the floor to improve water drainage. Complete-
ly open the stop tap(R), drain the remaining water, and then close
it again.
I (1)Remove the plug (T) from the knob of the mixer.
I (2-3-4)Remove the screw (V), slide off the knob (M) and the
cap of the mixer (C).
I (5) Unscrew the ring nut (H) that secures the thermostatic
valve.
I (6) Ease out the thermostatic valve (L).
Clean the mesh filters with a little brush and rinse. If scale is present,
wash with specific products.
I (7) Reassemble the various components by following the same
procedure in reverse order. When installing the knob of the ther-
mostatic valve (M), use care in ascertaining its position with re-
spect to the graduated scale and the safety stop.
I (8) Fasten the thermostatic valve so that the screw peg (Q) is
facing downwards, and that it fits into the groove of the brass
component.

Warnings and notes

• Ensure that installation has been carried out by qualified
personnel, in full compliance with legal and current nation-
al regulations.
• This equipment must not be used by individuals (including
children) with limited physical, sensorial and/or cognitive abil-
ities, or individuals who do not have the knowledge necessary
for its use. Children may use this equipment only under strict su-
pervision by a person responsible for their safety.
• This appliance must only be used to serve the purpose for
which it was designed. Jacuzzi does not take responsibility for
any damage resulting from inappropriate use of the appliance.
• It is dangerous to use or access the components of the elec-
trical system while the shower panel is in use.
• After using any "water jet" function, turn off the stop tap. It is advis-
able to turn the diverter to the "showerhead" position.
• If panels shower enclosures are supplied with hot water from an e-
conomic-type gas boiler with mechanical flame adjustment, the
boiler may not be able to provide a continuous water supply at the
required temperature. In this case, if it is not possible to replace the
boiler with an electronic-modulation one, it is advisable to get a
qualified technician to lock the flame modulation of the boiler and
only use the shower panel mixer tap to regulate water temperature.
• The water supply (hot/cold water) must ensure well-balanced pres-
sures. A considerable difference in pressure may prevent correct and
speedy adjustment of the water temperature.
For all maintenance and/or repair operations that require the re-
placement of components, original Jacuzzi
used, since failure to comply with this regulation will mean
that the Manufacturer is not liable for any damage.
