How to fill the boiler tank before use

DO NOT UNSCREW THE BOILER CAP UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THAT THE
APPLIANCE HAS BEEN UNPLUGGED FROM THE OUTLET (FIG. 2) AND THAT
THE PRESSURE INSIDE HAS BEEN RELEASED.
Do not unscrew the boiler cap unless you are sure that the appliance has been
unplugged from the outlet
When water in boiler is lack," Lack warter" pilot lamp(13) lights up,
Unscrew safety cap (7). Pour 1.0litres (12) of normal
tap water into the tank (figure 2) by means of funnel. Screw the safety cap on
tightly (7).

How to start the appliance

Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate corresponds with that of the local
network before connecting the appliance to the supply mains.
The appliance uses ordinary tap water.
Always remove the plug from the power socket before filling the boiler
Connect the appliance to the power supply.
Press the boiler's switch (4) and wait for the water to start boiling (about 8
minutes). Next, press switch (5) to turn on the iron and then select the desired
temperature by means of the thermostat knob (9).
When the light (11) goes off, the set temperature has been
reached and the iron is ready for use. It takes about 8minutes for the boiler to reach the
optimum
When the appliance is ready for use the steam pilot lamp (6) lights up.
When using the iron for the first time, iron a plain cloth first.
To obtain steam, press the steam button (10). Release the steam button when steam is
no longer required.
This appliance is also able to generate steam in a vertical position and can therefore be
used to refresh fabrics easily with a jet of steam.
