Thoroughly ungrease the multi-tooth segment of
both axle and crank.
Slide the 4mm spacer over the axle
(Powerarms SL MTB only).

Apply a thin coat of assembly paste for carbon
components (e.g. DYNAMIC assembly paste) to
the multi-tooth segment of the axle.

Fit the left-hand crank to the multi-tooth segment
of the axle.
! Be sure the left-hand crank is in line with the
right-hand one!
Press both cranks by hand against each other up to
the limit stop.
Both cranks come up solid against the inner ring of
the bearings.

Adjusting the bottom bracket

Install adjusting bolt.
Tighten the adjusting bolt carefully and slowly
until the bottom bracket is free from backlash, but
can easily be turned by hand.
INFORMATION
As a rule the bottom bracket will be adjusted
correctly when the adjusting bolt is pulled up to
a torque of approx. 0.3to 0.7Nm.
