NSTALLING THE POWERARMS SL
DANGER !
Danger of crash and risk of serious material
damage.
Do not overestimate your technical know-
ledge. Installation & removal of your STORCK
product as well as all pertaining assembly
steps on your bicycle should be performed
by a specialist workshop for bicycles!
Use only faultless tools of high quality as
well as the special tooling specified for the
installation & removal procedure!

Preparing the frame

Fix your bicycle in an appropriate rack.
If necessary remove the crankset and the old
bottom bracket.
Use petrol (gasoline) or similar to clean the bottom
bracket housing of the frame as required.
Ensure that the edges of the bottom bracket hou-
sing are plane, parallel, burred and milled to the
correct dimension – see D
If necessary retouch the bottom bracket housing
with an appropriate milling attachment for bottom
bracket housings (Cyclus, ParkTool or similar).

Ensure that the threads of the bottom bracket hou-
sing are clean, free from paint residues and tapped
over a sufficient length into the bottom bracket
housing – see D
If necessary touch up the threads of the bottom
bracket housing with an appropriate tapping de-
vice for bottom bracket housings (Cyclus, ParkTool
or similar).
