CAUTION !
Material damage.
When assembling and maintaining your STORCK
components use only high-quality lubricants
for maximum smoothness in operation!
Apply grease to the threads of both cups.
Fit the correct number of spacers and if necessary
the support of the E-TYPE front derailleur or chain-
BSA guide to the right-hand cup.
&
Screw the right-hand cup – first by hand –
ITA
counterclockwise (BSA)
resp.
clockwise (ITA)
into the right-hand side of the BB housing.
Fit the correct number of spacers to the left-hand

cup.
Screw the left-hand cup(Fig. 3) – first by hand –
clockwise (BSA & ITA)
into the left-hand side of the BB housing.

Align the support of the E-TYPE front derailleur,
resp. the chainguide, if required.
NOTE !
It is essential to read and observe the safety and
working instructions given in the manual of the

manufacturer of your front derailleur, resp. of
your chainguide.
Pull up both cups to 40Nm torque.
! This torque corresponds to a manual force of ap-
prox. 20kg applied to the end of the special STORCK
tool for bottom brackets supplied with the unit!
