Caused by direct sunlight, allow handset to cool
down.

The caller number display function is an optional
service offered by telephone network providers.
The caller number appears in the display if the ser-
vice is offered by your telephone network provider.
Contact your network provider for further informa-
tion.

The caller has suppressed the transmission of their
phone number.

Set the time on the answering machine (refer to
Chapter 17.2).

The answering machine memory is full.
Delete messages from the memory.

Ensure that the answering machine is connected
correctly and switched on.

Check whether the answering machine memory is
full. Delete messages from the memory, if neces-
sary.
Check whether a memo has already been recor-
ded. Delete the old memo, if possible.

Check whether the answering machine memory is
full. Delete messages from the memory, if neces-
sary.

Check that the correct security code has been ent-
ered for the remote access.

The telephone to be used for remote access must
be set to tone dialling (DTMF).
