– The appliance must only be installed by
Kärcher customer service technicians
or persons authorised by Kärcher.
– Figures are depicted in the specifica-
tions, dimension drawings.
Preparing the installation place
(Only with stationary devices)
– There must be a horizontal, even sur-
face or a base with minimum dimen-
sions of 1,400 mm x 750 mm.
 Install and align the appliance on the
surface or base.
 Install appliance so that all mainte-
nance work can easily be performed.
 Fasten the appliance using the en-
closed fasteners:
Connect the hoses for the cleaning
liquid
ATTENTION
The pipe network can be damaged by vi-
brations; therefore connect the appliance
using flexible hoses.
 Connect the supply hose for cleaning
liquid to the appliance (thread R 1 1/4").
 Connect the pressure hose for cleaning
liquid to the appliance (thread
M22x1.5).
Check oil level
 The oil level in the oil container of the
high-pressure pump must be between
the markings MIN and MAX. If the oil
level is below MIN, add oil.

Electrical connection

– For connection values, see technical
data and type plate.
– The electrical connections must be
done by an electrician according to IEC
60364-1.
– The voltage indicated on the type plate
must correspond to the voltage of the
electrical source.
 Connect the electric motor to the termi-
nal strip.
 Switch the motor on momentarily and
check its rotation direction.
EC Declaration of Conformity
We hereby declare that the machine de-
scribed below complies with the relevant
basic safety and health requirements of the
EU Directives, both in its basic design and
construction as well as in the version put
into circulation by us. This declaration shall
cease to be valid if the machine is modified
without our prior approval.
The undersigned act on behalf and under

The warranty terms published by our com-
petent sales company are applicable in
each country. We will repair potential fail-
ures of the appliance within the warranty
period free of charge, provided that such
failure is caused by faulty material or de-
fects in fabrication.
