If you decide to call, please have your MIDI
Express XT manual at hand, and be prepared to
provide the following information to help us solve
your problem as quickly as possible:
The serial number of the MIDI Express XT. This
is printed on a sticker placed on the bottom of the
MIDI Express XT. You must be able to supply this
number to receive technical support.
The version of MTP/Express Console you are
working with. This is displayed in the About MTP/
Express Console command in the Apple menu.
A brief explanation of the problem, including the
exact sequence of actions which cause it, and the
contents of any error messages which appear on the
screen. It is often very helpful to have brief written
notes to which to refer.
The pages in the manual which refer to the parts
of the MIDI Express XT or MTP/Express Console
with which you are having trouble.

The version or creation date of the system
software you are using to run the Macintosh. This
can be found by choosing About the Finder from
the Apple menu under System 6 and About this
Macintosh from the Apple menu under System 7.
We're not able to solve every problem immediately,
but a quick call to us may yield a suggestion for a
problem which you might otherwise spend hours
trying to track down.

Although we do not announce release dates and
features of new products or versions of our
software in advance, we will notify all registered
users immediately by mail as soon as new releases
become available. If you move from the address
indicated on your registration card, please send us
a note with your change of address so that we can
keep you informed of future upgrades and releases.
