5.4 Mains connection
1. Mains connection:
Mains connection is carried out using the pre-
assembled connecting cable with earthed plug.
2. Fresh water station must be earthed
6 Operation
6.1 Initial operation
NOTICE
Before initial operation, tightness has to be checked
by submitting the system to a pressure test.
Damage to property caused by pressure
impacts
Sudden pressure impacts when opening the ball
valves may lead to damage to property
For this reason:
– Always open ball valves slowly
– Open ball valve of the cold water supply first
(flow direction)
Moreover, the system has to be flushed thoroughly
with due consideration of the permissible operating
pressures.
When the potable water circuit is closed, the
permissible operating pressure can be exceeded
All ball valves must be in the open position during
operation
WARNING
Damage to property through operating error
Operating errors and an incomplete installation
may cause malfunction and damage to property.
WARNING
The pipework has to be bled and flushed
thoroughly in order to guarantee a perfect
operation of the system.
Corresponding components (deaerator...) are to be
installed on site.
DANGER
Risk of scalding
Water pipes and the water drawn from the tap can
become very hot (>60 °C).
For this reason:
– If necessary, preventive measures against
scalding are to be taken on site.

6.2 Flushing filling
DANGER
Risk of injury
Improper use may lead to extensive injuries and
damage to property.
For this reason:
– Carry out leakage test before filling/flushing
– Have any work at the installation only carried out
by a qualified tradesman.
– Wear safety goggles.
6.3 Bleeding
Illustr. 6.1 Bleeding "Regumaq XH"
1. Open ball valve (2) in the primary circuit.
2. Open ball valve (1) slowly.
3. For bleeding the heat exchanger, open the
deaerator (4) slowly so that the air may escape.
4. For bleeding the pipework, open a draw off point
so that the air may escape.
