5 Installation

5.1 Important advice

WARNING
When installing a heated potable water system,
local applicable standards, approvals and regula-
tions must be observed
For this reason:
– According to DIN standard, a safety valve must
be installed in the cold potable water pipe. This
valve must not be equipped with an isolating
facility.
– In accordance with the latest technical
development, a water filter has to be installed in
the cold potable water pipe.
CAUTION
The hydronic decoupling of the station must be
guaranteed
For this reason:
– Always use separate connections for the
connection of the storage cylinder circuit to the
buffer storage cylinder.
– The connecting pipes between the fresh water
station and the storage cylinder should be as
short as possible.
CAUTION
– Do not use any greasing agents or oils for the
installation, as these may destroy the seals. Any
dirt particles or grease or oil residues must be
flushed out.
– When choosing the operating fluid, the latest
technical status has to be considered (e.g. VDI
2035).
– Please protect against external forces (e.g.
impacts, vibrations etc.).
5.2 Preparations

Risk of injury
Improper installation may lead to extensive injuries
to persons and damage to property.
For this reason:
– Installation must only be carried out by a qualified
gas and water specialist.
– Have any work at the electrical installation only
carried out by a qualified electrician.
5.3 Wire basket installation

5.3.1 Installation
– Close secondary circuit
– Depressurize secondary circuit.
– Loosen coupling (1).
– Loosen pipe clamp (2).
– Turn pipe (3) to the side.
– Remove (4) ring gasket.
– Fit wire basket (5).
– Insert new ring gasket and tighten coupling.
– Tighten pipe clamp (2).
– Insert power plug into the socket.
CAUTION
The installation of a heated potable water system
must be carried out in accordance with the valid
standards, approved rules of technology and local
regulations
Especially when operating a circulation system,
the hygiene regulations according to DVGW sheet
W551 must be observed
