Troubleshooting

You can thus solve any problems that may
occur.
Indicator lamp "Filter blocked"
glows
Filter is blocked
Switch off the appliance using the ON/OFF
switch and separate it from the mains.
Tilt the fastener for filter dedusting to-
wards the side.
Move forcefully the handle for filter dedust-
ing in an upward and downward direction.
Place the fastener for filter dedusting in a
vertical position.
If cleaning the filter does not bring any
results, then replace the filter
Motor (suction turbine) does not
No electrical voltage.
Check cables, plugs and socket.
Suction capacity decreases slowly
Filter, nozzle, suction hose or suction pipe
may be blocked.
Check, clean the accessories, replace
the filter, if required.
Dust comes out during the vacuum-
Filter has not been fastened correctly or is
defective.
Check to see if filter is sitting properly; re-
place if required.
Manometer indicates a negative
suction pressure below -0.16 bar (-
16 kPa)
Filter is blocked
Switch off the appliance, clean the filter
or insert a new filter.
Warning
All checking and work on electrical parts
must be performed by an authorized electri-
cian. In the event of continuing faults, con-
tact Kärcher customer service.
