Operate the shut-off valve with the operating pressure
specifi ed in the datasheet
Operate the actuator with the control pressure specified in
the datasheet (6 - 8 bar)
Connect control medium
Use an actuator that is designed for the operating
conditions
Correctly adjust the end positions (see chapter 12.2
"Adjusting the end positions")
Correctly adjust the stroke limiter (optional) (see chapter
12.3 "Setting the stroke limiter (optional)")
Replace actuator (see chapter 14.2 "Replacing the
actuator")
Disassemble and clean the actuator, install a filter upstream
Disassemble and clean the shut-off valve
Check actuator for damage, if necessary replace actuator
(see chapter 14.2 "Replacing the actuator")
Check the valve body for potential damage and replace the
valve body if necessary
Tighten unions
Check the installation of the actuator on the valve body
