A djusting the grinding level
T urn the adjustable screw
receive a finer grinding level (see fig. C).

Turn the top of the device and press the switch
to remove residues from the grinding mechanism.
Note: Choose a coarser setting if the grinding
mechanism stops rotating when you are using a very
fine setting. If the grinding mechanism still refuses to
rotate, then it may be choked or blocked. Unscrew
the adjustable screw
and loosen the grinding

mechanism. Release the stuck pieces by shaking the
grinding mechanism, then tighten the adjustable
screw
again.

Changing the bulb

R emove the batteries before you change the
bulb
. In this way you will ensure that the

salt and pepper mill is not turned on by acci-
dent while you are changing the bulb
Note: Use only bulbs of the same type as the
bulb supplied. Otherwise the product may be
damaged.
H old the base with container
facing upwards as shown in Figure C.
R emove the broken bulb
carefully out of the socket.
I nsert the new bulb.

Cleaning and maintenance

U nder no circumstances should you use liquids
or detergents, as these will damage the device.
T he device should only be cleaned on the
outside with a soft dry cloth.
