Precaution:
• As the temperature of the unit tends to significantly
increase during operation, it is advisable to avoid
touching hot surfaces. Always turn the unit off before
moving it, by disconnecting the plug from the electric
socket, and wait at least five minutes until it cools
down.
• Do not make any modifications of any kind to your
product.
• Always adopt the necessary measures when leaving
the unit unattended.
• The appliance must not be exposed to atmospheric
conditions (rain, sun, etc.).
• Perform periodic inspection on the unit to see that it
is free of visual defects. If any are found, do not
operate the unit and immediately contact Vortice
Service Centre.
• The appliance must not be located directly under
an electrical wall socket.
• The unit must be correctly connected to an electric
system compliant with current law requirements and
equipped with an appropriate grounding system. In
doubt, have the unit inspected by a qualified
technician.
• The electrical power source to which the product is
to be connected must be able to provide the
maximum amount of electrical power required by
the product. If it cannot do this, contact an
electrician for appropriate remedial action.
• It the plug of the unit is not suited for the electric
socket, have it replaced with a correct one by a
qualified technician. When possible, avoid using
adapters, multiple sockets and/or extensions. If their
use cannot be avoided, make sure they are
compliant with current safety standards and suited
to the maximum power indicated on the nameplate.
Always use the shortest extensions possible to
avoid overheating the unit and enabling the thermal
protections.
• Do not pull on the electrical cord. Do not place the
cord near a source of heat, and avoid serious
overheating by always wind it up completely. If it
should be damaged, contact Vortice.
• Do not cover or compress the power cable to avoid

this symbol indicates that care must be taken to avoid damaging your product
overheating or damaging the unit and make sure
that its position does cause any hindrance.
• A limited rise of the temperature of the power cable
and related plug are acceptable during the ordinary
operation of the unit. However, if the temperature
rises above acceptable limits causing an excessive
overheating or the deformation of the unit, contact a
Vortice Technical Assistance Centre.
• Never place the power cable in front of radiating
elements.
• Always maintain the unit in vertical position.
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy
blow, have it checked immediately by a qualified
engineer.
• If a problem and/or failure occur, turn the commands
knob to position "0", disconnect the plug from the
socket and immediately contact a Vortice Technical
Assistance Centre. Always ask for Vortice original
spare parts.
• If you are not using the unit, turn the commands
knob to position "0" and disconnect the plug from
the electric socket.
• Never cover the grid near the radiating elements.
• Always keep the grid in front of the radiating
elements clean.
• Always turn the unit off before cleaning it. To do so,
press the main switch and disconnect the plug from
the electric socket.
• Never place the unit with the radiating elements
near or oriented towards curtains, beds or other
inflammable items or materials to avoid possible
fires breaking out. The unit should always be kept at
a minimum distance of 1 metre from all other items.
• Never use the unit with programmers, timers or
other devices that could turn it on automatically to
prevent the risk of fires that could occur if the unit is
covered or incorrectly positioned.
• The protection system of the unit has been
designed to prevent the direct access to radiating
elements and must always be present when the unit
is running.
