Always operate the calibrator
Residual media in dismounted reference pressure sensors
LPC-2 can result in a risk to persons, the environ
and the equipment.
Take su cient precau onary measures. ff
Do not use this calibrator
Incorrect use of the calibrator and it's sensors
can result in injury.
Should a failure occur, aggressive media with extremely high temperature
and under high pressure or vacuum may be present at the
calibrator and the sensors.
Plan the wiring especially carefully when connec ng to other devices.
Under certain circumstances, internal connec ons in third-party
devices (e.g. GND connected to the ground) can lead to impermissible
voltages that could compromise or even destroy the func on of
the device itself or a device connected to it.
To ensure problem-free opera on, only operate the calibrator
on ba ery power. Only use the mains lead for charging the
ba eries of the calibrator
Only use the sensor cable available from
calibrator. Do not connect any cable over 3 m
long to the calibrator
The measurement signal of the reference (or test sample) can be
in uenced by large electromagne c ef ects and the display of the fl
signal may be lost completely.
The display screen is made from glass. If there is any possibility of
the screen breaking during opera on, all personnel in the vicinity of
the instrument must wear eye protec on before and during its use.
If the LPC-2 reference pressure sensor is used in applica ons
with oil as a pressure medium, make sure it is not be used with
flammable material or gases directly a erwards, since this can lead
to dangerous explosions and a risk to personnel and machinery.
