• Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
• Never direct the steam directly at mains cables or parts contain-
ing electrical components (e. g. inside ovens, fridges, at switch-
es and lights, microwave ovens).
• Pull out the mains plug
– before you remove/change an attachment,
– top up/empty the water reservoir,
– clean the device or
– you are not using the device.
• When you want to remove the mains plug from the mains sock-
et, never pull the cable, but always pull the plug.
• Use the device only in closed rooms.
• Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust
or poisonous and explosive fumes.
Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
• Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present
a trip hazard. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of
tables or kitchen counters. Others may become caught and pull
the device down.
• Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed
or bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Never unscrew the cap on the water reservoir during use! The
water reservoir is pressurised. Always make sure that the water
reservoir is fi rmly shut before you use the device
• Always work with suffi cient lighting.
• Never use the device without water!
• Do not use any other accessories. Use only accessories recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
• Never cover up the steam outlet opening and do not stick any
objects into it.
• Do not overfi ll the water reservoir. Do not pour more than 255 ml
of water into the water reservoir. Both tap water and distilled wa-
ter can be used to fi ll the device. However, to ensure that your
device can be used for a long time, we recommend that you use
distilled water.
